I had an Invite to take part in a $7 paid survey for ACOP. I started taking the paid survey and about 3 minutes into it I was informed that this was just a screener for the real paid survey and that I would find out in a couple of weeks if I actually qualified [...]

Today I got a letter from ACOP containing a check for a $5 survey that I had recently taken. I made this $5 in about 15 minutes and it only took 2-3 weeks for it to come.
So I guess it is official that American Consumer Opinion is not a scam
