I have been a member of American Consumer Opinion (ACOP) for about 2 months and a week. They are completely free to join and accept a wide variety of demographics. They do not send as many surveys as some of the other companies but they have the highest compensation per survey sent. So far I have received 3 surveys from them: one for $5 one for $7 and one for $10. They do not waste your time with any sort of sweepstakes entries or surveys that take like 20 minutes and only pay $0.50
The surveys they send tell you about how much time it will take and how much they will pay you for it. The ones I have taken were all around 10 or 15 minutes. With each survey they send they also put you into a random drawing for money, but I pretty much only take the surveys for the cash.
Another cool thing about American Consumer Opinions is that they don’t really have a member’s area or anything. Once they send you a survey, you take it and in about 4 weeks you will receive a check in the mail for that particular survey. They do not have any sort of cash out or redeeming points or anything, just a check for you when you are done.
Overall I would say that this website is one of the best, you will not spend much time taking surveys with this website but the time you do spend will be the most profitable based on the money/time spent. I highly recommend joining

I had an Invite to take part in a $7 paid survey for ACOP. I started taking the paid survey and about 3 minutes into it I was informed that this was just a screener for the real paid survey and that I would find out in a couple of weeks if I actually qualified to take it.
Looking back at the email it did say that it was just a screener, so it was not like they were tricking me into taking it.

Today I got a letter from ACOP containing a check for a $5 survey that I had recently taken. I made this $5 in about 15 minutes and it only took 2-3 weeks for it to come.
So I guess it is official that American Consumer Opinion is not a scam

American Consumer Opinion is a paid survey site that is well worth your registration. They really excel at what a legitimate survey site should do. I have been a member of ACOP for the last year and a half and I have been very pleased. Their surveys have been interesting and their payment plan is quite good.
I will say that ACOP has some of the more interesting surveys of the many online survey sites. I believe that my first survey from them was an analysis of a suggested video game accessory that would allow people to type quickly while playing an online match. I remember that it really felt like they were interested in my opinion. They asked for what I really thought of the product and left space for me to type a full opinion along with what changes I thought they should make. It was one of the few surveys I’ve had where it seemed like they wanted more than a few statistics.
The pay structure is good too. They don’t have fancy member areas or complicated management systems. If they have a survey for you, they email it. If you fill it out you’ll get a check in a few weeks. Simple and without any annoying hang-ups.
My only complaint is that they don’t seem to have as many surveys as some of the other websites. I usually only get one every month or so. That’s really not a good way to judge them though, as they do not control demand.
ACOP is a great panel to join for anyone who likes doing online surveys. The surveys are good and the payment system is easy. You can’t ask for more.

I was invited to take a paid survey from American Consumer Opinion today. The survey would be worth $5 if I were to qualify.
I started with the screening questions to see if I qualify for the paid survey. The first screen said that the entire survey, if I qualified would take about 20 minutes. After the first couple of questions I was informed that I did qualify. I started answering the questions, which were a little tedious, and the entire survey took me about 15 minutes.
After I was done taking the survey I was informed that in about 4 weeks I would receive a $5 check from American Consumer Opinion

I didn’t post anything about American Consumer Opinion for the past 10 days because I had nothing to post about them.
They don’t have much of a member’s area on the website, and you can only take paid surveys when they email you. I got my first email from them. It was for a paid survey that would take about 2-3 minutes and it was for a sweepstakes entry. They said that if you won anything in the sweepstakes they would send you a check.
The survey took about 2 minutes to complete. From the things I have heard about them American Consumer Opinion sends survey out pretty infrequently but they usually pay pretty well.
