If you start looking around the survey world, then you may start to see other types of surveys in the system. These can take many different forms. There are phone surveys, conferences, and long-term surveys. The good news is that these all pay quite well, but they can be a little intimidating if you don’t understand at first.
Let’s start with the phone surveys. These should be a fairly simple thing to understand. You just take a survey over the phone. The form will be a bit different, but the difference usually just takes the form of a conversation. You’ll be asked a series of questions, but you will be allowed to answer them in greater depth than normal. If you like surveys, then these should be perfect. Especially when you consider that the going rate is at least $30 for a half hour call.
The next would be the conference. It can take place at a gathering point near you or take place over the phone or online. Either way, it’s just a friendly discussion. These can often be quite fun if you enjoy a good talk. There are several meetings to talk about political candidates or social ideas, while others just talk about new products and what you like or dislike. One example would be a recent conference done by the Navy Reserve. They sent out a trial packet for a new advertising campaign to four people along with login information. They paid $75 for an hour’s worth of talking about what they liked or disliked about the new campaign. It’s all pretty simple if you are willing to express your ideas.
The long-term survey is different enough to be considered alternative. These can be rewarding or not, depending on what the company is willing to pay. They generally just ask for daily monitoring of an activity. There was a snack survey and a beverage survey that went out last year. It just involved using a PDA to track one’s consumption with a nice reward for those that did it right over two weeks time.
These are just some of the alternatives to basic surveys. If you are active in the survey community, then you should run across the opportunities from time to time. Now you at least don’t have to make your decision blindly.

You may have heard a lot by now about the reasons to do online surveys. They are just a great way to earn a little bit of extra money for your little expenses and splurges. I doubt that this explains everything for you though. I’m sure you have a few questions about how to actually do the surveys.
Starting a survey is probably the easiest step. You will usually get email alerts to new surveys you can take so just keep an eye out. When you get one, just click on the link to go to the survey. You may have to put in an ID number, so make sure you read the Email beforehand.
Just about every survey will have the standard demographic questions. After you give your age, race, marital status, etc., you will have to check a list to see whether your line of work would interfere with the survey.
Once you get past this first part, you just have to take the actual survey. This is usually fairly easy. It will show you product images, give you brand names, or just ask about your shopping habits. Read the instructions and click the appropriate bubbles to answer the questions.
The only hang-up could be an opinions section. These work by stating something and asking to what degree you agree with said statement. It shouldn’t be too hard as long as you don’t over think it. Most studies just want your gut reaction. They don’t need you to struggle with your opinions for several minutes to reach a conclusion. Just keep moving forward and do the best that you can. Your opinion can’t be wrong.
Once you’ve finished the survey, you should reach the final page. Make sure that your payment is confirmed and then exit the survey as instructed. Do not rush through the exit, since improperly finishing the survey could cause it to not register properly.
These are the essential steps of filling out a survey. As you can see, it shouldn’t be too tough. You just have to read the instructions and give honest answers.

A paid survey company I like to use is Global Test Market

Just about every survey company will offer sweepstakes in one form or another. The big question is whether you should actually do the surveys are not. It should all boil down to whether it’s worth your time, and that is honestly a personal decision that you have to make for yourself.
The easiest decision maker is whether you have the time or not. If you are bored and don’t have any other surveys to do, then go ahead and do it. Someone does have to win the sweepstakes and it won’t be you unless you enter. Most of these sweepstakes surveys require little to no time commitment either.
There are other benefits to consider though. I’ve noticed a few survey websites that seem to monitor who takes the sweepstakes surveys. It’s rumored that taking sweepstakes surveys will ultimately increase your chances in getting a good phone survey or seminar. These can pay a lot of money, so you should do everything you can to improve your chances at getting one. It is also possible that the survey is just a secret screener for another survey. This is true for several low cost surveys. They want to filter out people who might lie to get the big ones, so they use a little survey to find a specific demographic.
I would go ahead and tell you to monitor what the actual sweepstake is. Getting one ticket to a huge quarterly sweepstakes isn’t really worth it for most people. The ones you really want to consider are the little monthly sweepstakes that actually pay out to a far number of people. Several just pass out $50 to 10 people as their reward. These are usually worth your time, since you have a fairly good chance of winning a smaller, spread out pot. It’s still your call in the end though.
That’s about it for sweepstakes in your surveys. There are a lot of possible bonuses to be had if you do them, but it simply won’t be worth the effort for some. If you have the time and the survey isn’t asking for much, then you should obviously do them. Don’t feel too bad about letting these slide into the dark corner of your inbox though.

One paid survey company that I use that doesn’t offer a lot of sweepstakes and mostly pays in points and cash is Global Test Market

If you are going to do online surveys, then you should probably understand the terms of the various payment systems that are available. Understanding the basic options from the start should make your search a whole lot easier.
The simplest method is just cash, but this can come in two forms. Some companies just send out checks out the end of the month. You can request a payout and they then send it to you. There isn’t much else too it. The only downside is that it can take a little time and some demand minimum payouts since they’d prefer to not write a bunch of $2 checks each month.
The other option is PayPal. This is the online payment processor backed by eBay. It is just as good as money through a bunch of websites, and you can arrange an ACH transfer to just about any bank and you’ll have the money in three days. The bonus is that PayPal is easy to use, so many survey companies can quickly send out payments on demand to PayPal accounts. This means you’ll get your cash faster, with a little more possible work to get it into your hands.
If they don’t pay in cash, then they’ll probably pay in gift certificates. Gift certificates are probably going to be just as good as cash if they offer them for a store you like. The best are the Amazon gift certificates that are fairly prominent in the survey world. Amazon is a superstore that sells just about everything now. I’m sure you can find something you want there, and the balance is just added to a gift certificate part of your account. This means you don’t have to worry about the money expiring. The delivery is also done via email, so you can get it quick.
The last reward option is a physical reward. A number of companies offer a reward store where you can spend your points. I never cared for this option since the rewards aren’t usually great and it’s hard to save your points for any length of time. These programs usually offer gift cards too, so it usually isn’t too bad. If you are in one of these programs, just make sure that they have something you want before you commit to joining.
These are the basic options for pay surveys. There are other options for sweepstakes surveys, but those are another monster entirely. Just remember the types and make sure you check a sites payment options before you commit.

Most of the surveys that I use, like global test market, pay by check.

Surveys are one of the best ways for stay-at-home moms to earn some extra money on the side. A number of companies promise to unlock the world of surveys for a set price. These are all scams. You don’t need to spend a penny to start doing surveys. Surveys are a free way to get some extra cash without a whole lot of work, and they are just perfect for you.
There are several reasons for this. The first should probably be convenience. I’m fairly certain that, while your days may be quite busy, you still have a few spare moments. If you can pull together fifteen uninterrupted minutes during your day, you can do surveys and earn money. They aren’t exactly tests either. They are mostly just about shopping habits, personal opinions, and general questions to get opinions about brand names and advertising campaigns. Anyone should be able to handle it without too much extra effort.
The next is the money. Legitimate surveys aren’t just limited to sweepstakes. A lot of them offer several dollars for about 15-30 minutes of your time. This is basically free money. Sure you have to put in some basic effort and answer questions, but you can just do them when you’re bored. It isn’t a matter of choosing one thing over another. If you can fit them in, then do so. Otherwise just let them expire in your inbox and do another when you can. It isn’t a big deal. You’ll get the checks in a timely fashion or earn gift certificates to shop online. What more could you want?
Finally, I should point out that stay-at-home moms are the perfect demographic for most surveys. The 18-45 age groups are always important. If the person has a child or owns a home, then they are even more important to the advertisers. This all means that you will have a lot more options when it comes to available surveys. More surveys mean more opportunities to earn some extra money.
These are just some of the reason you should really look into online surveys. They are quick and easy ways to pick up some spare cash in your free time. You have nothing to lose.

One of the main paid survey companies that I recommend is global test market

Global Test Market is one of the leading paid surveys sites that has been around for a while. This is one of the most genuine paid surveys site among a few lot.

Global test market is free join unlike many scam sites which ask you to pay a sum to join. As soon you register there for free, you need to complete your profile surveys initially which actually are nothing but general surveys about yourself and your preferences. They send surveys only based up on these profile which actually that fits the criteria for that particular survey.

After you finished up these you need to wait for their mail with survey invitations. Mostly you will get it with subject “A new survey from GlobalTestMarket”. Inside you will find the survey link which you need to click to proceed and complete the survey that was sent to you.

Initially, they will ask the filler questions which actually will find out whether you are eligible for the survey and if you are eligible you will be proceed through the survey till the end until you get the confirmation page of completing the survey, you must go through the survey till this confirmation page.

They pay you through their own unique own payment method called market points only through which they will pay you. For each survey you complete you will be allotted specific market points which varies depending on the surveys. Each market points is valued at 5 cents. Once you reach 1000 market points you can claim the payout, as this is the minimum points you need to claim it.

The unique point about Global Test Market is that they pay you in your local currency after converting it from USD through the check to your home address. They really indeed are one of the market leaders when it comes to paid surveys.
